Former minister and MLA Konda Surekha has made it clear to the party cadre and fans not to believe the false propaganda being spread against them. She said that the stories being broadcast on TV are imaginary and false. She announced that she will not join any party. She said that she was born in the Congress and will continue in that party. She participated in a meeting of fans and activists in Warangal on Sunday along with her husband Konda Murali. Speaking on the occasion, Konda Surekha said that she was not upset that she was dismissed from the cabinet. But she said that she was upset that she was dismissed without reason.
Konda Surekha announced that he will be among the people again. He explained on this occasion that he managed the ministry without doing corruption. He recalled that he rose from an MPP to the level of minister. He said that the position is just a decoration. He said that he will abide by the decision of the party high command. He said that if party leader Rahul Gandhi does a padayatra, he will win. Konda Surekha expressed confidence that he will contest again from the Congress and win.
She expressed confidence that Konda Surekha will win 100 percent from the Warangal East Assembly seat and will again take up the post of minister. However, she said that the Congress high command does not want to dismiss her. She said that she recently received phone calls from the Congress party high command and that there were indications that her husband Konda Murali would be given the post.
On this occasion, Konda Surekha recalled that she was the first to speak during the padayatra undertaken by Revanth Reddy. She said that she got the post of minister after the Congress came to power. She reminded that she had not committed any corruption in the three departments given to her. She said that the post was just a decoration. She predicted that she would win in 25 divisions of Warangal in the next corporation elections.
However, they said that they changed parties due to certain circumstances. They said that they did not do immoral politics by winning in this party and joining that party. Konda Surekha indirectly lashed out at MLC Baswaraju Saraiah, saying that the so-called leaders are doing politics without values. They expressed their anger that Saraiah, who could not even win as a corporator, is asking her to resign. On this occasion, they warned Saraiah to keep her mouth shut. They said that the fans asked if they should riot on the day she was dismissed, but they said no. On this occasion, she thanked the fans and activists who followed her orders.
Konda Surekha said that positions come and go. He said that he is indebted to the activists who supported him. He said that in the past, if they trusted a leader, they would support him.. but he said that there is no such situation in politics now. On this occasion, he recalled that he resigned from the ministerial post for YS Rajasekhara Reddy, whom he trusted.
They said that the district was haunted by the jackals when Rajasekhar Reddy was there. They recalled that KCR gave them a Warangal ticket to defeat the then minister Baswaraju Saraiah. They criticized that the Saraiah family is still involved in land grabbing and extortion. When they left Parakala, BRS leader Dharma Reddy was appointed in that position, earning crores of rupees and buying leaders, former minister Konda Surekha alleged.
