Some posters that were put up in the city of Pune in Maharashtra have now become a hot topic of discussion across the country. These posters, set up with the strange slogan "Be a cockroach, not a cockroach", are creating a political uproar. On the one hand, these posters show FlyDubai pilot Captain Smith Machar as a hero, and on the other hand, they target the satirical protest group called 'Cockroach Janata Party' (CJP). It seems that the 'Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha' (BJYM) has put up these posters.

Who is Captain Machar?
Last September, an unexpected incident took place on a FlyDubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. While the plane was in the air, the co-pilot.. Captain Smith Machar was accused of assaulting him. In that difficult situation, Captain Machar became alert, took control of the plane and landed it safely. With this, everyone praised his bravery. 'Machar' means 'mosquito' in Hindi. Using his surname, he was shown as a symbol of positivity in these posters.

What is 'Cockroach Janata Party'?
There is also a background behind the mention of 'Boddinka'. In May this year, there were reports that some activists had commented on the Chief Justice of India, Justice Suryakant, as 'Boddinkalu', referring to unemployed youth. However, he later clarified that his words were published incorrectly.

Based on this controversy, a social activist named Abhijeet Dipke started an online satirical group called 'Cockroach Janata Party'. The group gained recognition by protesting innovatively on issues like exam paper leaks and the plight of government schools.

It is against this backdrop that these posters appeared, showing Captain Machar as a hero, to discredit the CJP. There is strong criticism on social media over dragging the personal achievement and surname of a pilot into a political controversy. The controversy over these strange posters not only increased the local political heat in Pune but also put adventure pilot Captain Machar, as well as CJP, in the national news.
