Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has challenged the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government. He made it clear on Saturday that the government can deploy as many police officers as it wants, arrest leaders and youth, but the opposition's fight will not stop. He released a video message to this effect on the 'X' platform.
Rahul said that he has been fighting against Modi and the RSS for the last decade and that he knows them completely. Mentioning the names of many people including Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Chief Election Commissioner Dnyanesh Kumar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, he accused their main characteristic of cowardice. He said that a trap is being tightened around them, which is why they are afraid.
"Modi ji.. Do whatever you like. Call 10,000, 20,000, 50,000 police. Arrest all our leaders, youth, and us. But we are surrounding you. There is no turning back," Rahul Gandhi warned sternly in his video. He reiterated that they have the necessary information and that their goal is to protect the Constitution and the voice of the people. He said that they will ensure that the injustices that have happened in the last 10-15 years do not repeat themselves. He said that he is proud of the courage of the youth of the country and called on them to continue the protests.
The opposition parties have decided to protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, alleging irregularities in the special amendment of the electoral rolls and demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. However, the Delhi Police refused permission for the demonstration, citing law and order reasons.
Many people who tried to reach the protest site were detained and a heavy police force was deployed. It is noteworthy that Rahul Gandhi made his comments in this context. Rahul made this statement as part of the opposition's fight against the central government and the Election Commission on election issues.
