Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan has refused to respond to Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt's recent comment that 'there is no peace in India'. He waved his hands and avoided answering a question from the media at an event in Mumbai.
Sanjay Dutt recently participated in the show 'Shekhar Tonight' hosted by actor Shekhar Suman. Speaking on the occasion, he said, "The people of this country are very good. There should be peace here. But I am not able to feel that peace in our country right now. Indians are good-hearted and are synonymous with hospitality. I pray to Lord Shiva that those good days come soon."
After these comments led to a debate online, Sanjay Dutt clarified. He said that the conversation on the show was as per a pre-written script and that he spoke like that with the intention of being fun and humorous. He clarified that his intention was to show love and unity in the spirit of 'Gandhigiri' from the movie 'Munna Bhai'. Aamir Khan
, who dodged the question,
attended the inauguration of the 'Celebrate Cinema Festival 2026' held at the Vigilant Woods International in Mumbai on Wednesday. On this occasion, media representatives asked Aamir about Sanjay Dutt's comments. He did not say anything to this and kept silent by waving his hands as if he did not want to answer.
However, at the same event, Aamir Khan spoke about the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in films. He believes that AI is just a tool and cannot be seen as good or bad, it depends on how the directors use it. He stated that if the technology is used properly, it can do wonders.
Aamir Khan's silence on Sanjay Dutt's comments... is a gesture of shrugging off the situation!
